the end of the festives

today marks the last of the festive season! well, at least it does for me, with duty tmr till the new year.

was crazily busy this christmas-till-the-year-ends period with the timbre gig, christmas, parties, flea market and what not. really happy to get in touch again with people i practically ignore the whole year round, also really happy to have met new people.

as it now stands, i am so exhausted that for once, it feels like everything can wait till tomorrow. even thinking.

oh yeah, just a note before i forget, i really see lots of areas i need to improve in. not that i am no good, just not good enough.

thank you all for all the help and favors. :)

till tomorrow!

It's Christmas!

It's Christmas! Just posting this video because it seems like a tonne of fun.

For the past few years, i've always eagerly anticipated the arrival of christmas day, but not this year. Probably because of the collective disappointment of the past few years, i've learnt not to pin my hopes too high.

But somehow, this was the best christmas I've had in a while. I won't even bother to explain why christmas is such a special day even if it may not be the actual day of Jesus' birth and all - i'd leave that to the movies and the pastors. But I thank every single one whom wrote me a card, gave me a present, or even just extended an amiable hand with Christmas greetings for giving me a great, warm and fuzzy Christmas. I thank God for the friends I'm blessed with, yes every single one of you. My life wouldn't be what it is without you guys.

Merry Christmas!

cockroach in the kaya pt 2

So timbre ended with me feeling our first show could have been a lot better than it was. but i'm quite proud of the guys for doing what we did, given that it was a really last minute band. it was really enjoyable though, and i hope it wont be our last gig with this line up. and it was great playing outside of a church setting to gain some exposure.

the event(Rhythm of Christmas) was pretty cool. i must say the emcees were pretty impressive and the crowd was very participative. probably because most of them know each other from way back(us not included.) the only let down was the food or more accurately, the lack of it. and the little boys band that was the closing band, just damn good.

i'm running up such a dry spell in blogging now. that's all kids. :D

Cockroach In The Kaya

If all goes well, we'll be playing at Timbre on the 20th Dec, for a christmas party.

Entry fee of $10, you get a free dinner and free flow soft drinks(non-alcoholic, sadly). Bring along a $5 gift for gift exchange, and flowers for the band. ok, i'm joking about the flowers part. kaya would be much preferred.

Rhythm of Christmas:Rock On

If interested, please get back to me by this weekend!
