Ancient Skies

heard this at hillsong conference, and i keep going on to youtube to listen to this though the video's kind of crappy. i don't even make full sense of this song, but i'm somehow captivated by it.

edge of a ravine

feels like i'm standing at the edge of a ravine, all ready to tumble into a place where i've been before.

while the depth and the darkness of the ravine scares me, it is not the scariest part. what scares me most is the things that i perceive to be able to save me are grossly warped.

like holding on to a fast breaking root at the edge of a cliff, i dare not let go to try to grab hold of another, for it seems like beyond this faltering hope, i have nothing.

i can only pray that you set me on your solid rock.

At Hillsong Conference, there was this woman with a really nice voice, and coming home to watch the "this is our God" DVD, found this testimony from her.



Lots of other stories as well, should check out Mike G's but I shall post that some other time(if requested) since most people would have known that one already.

Never been a huge Hillsong fan before this, but from this conference, I've really gained respect for them. Not just because they are the biggest name in christian music today, or because they are probably the mega-est mega church in the world, but for their heart.
