As much as i hate to admit it, I have to face up to the fact that I've invested too much time and effort in the wrong thing.

Some people are receptive and grateful for help or concern given, while some just think themselves too good for it. They'll show the whole world they're hurting only to snarl at those who offer them help.

What is the point of showing your hurt then, if you just want to be left alone? Why only desire the care of those who aren't near? Why leave doors open to those who hurt you and slam the door shut in the face of those who care? So many questions why left to be unanswered.

And yes, that is what I should do. Step back and realize all these has never been any of business at all. While what has been taken away from my life can never be replaced, I have the power to stop it from taking any more.
